Rapper 50 cent was involved in a nearly fatal car accident late Monday night and was rushed to a local hospital. The incident occurred when his bullet-proof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack on the Long Island Expressway in New York City.
Following the accident, he was placed on a stretcher and taken to the nearest Queens hospital where they ran various tests on his neck and back.

As for what happened? The truck driver reportedly told police he lost control of the vehicle.
50 was later released from the hospital and said to be doing fine.
