Chris Brown Set To Perform Tribute To Michael Jackson

Finally the ban has been lifted! Chris Brown is set to honor the late Michael Jackson at tonight’s 2010 BET Awards show. Brown, who has been paying tribute to the late King of Pop during his sold out ‘Fan Appreciated Tour’ is said to take the award ceremony by storm alongside other notable artists who are yet to be announced.

A year ago, fans were disgruntled and disappointed in what BET called an award show dedicated to the late Michael Jackson with lack luster performances and a no show from Brown. The network has apparently heard the fans plea to properly honor the King and has enlisted Brown to do what he does best, dance! Michael Jackson himself praise the young star after noting several of Brown’s live performances.

It’s not secret that Brown has struggled to revamp his career after his violent altercation with then girlfriend Rihanna over a year and a half ago. This appearance may be just what he needs to make his overdue comeback to spotlight.
