DMX is a free man! After serving a mere 18 days of his 90 day sentence the troubled rapper was released from the L.A County jail Thursday afternoon, at approximately 4:30pm according to Sheriff’s Department records.
Six months after serving a 90 day sentence in Phoenix, AZ for using a controlled substance while on probation DMX was then ordered to serve an additional 90 sentence for violating probation stemming from a 2002 DUI in the LA County jail.
The cause for the early release? Overcrowding!
