Yesterday it was reported that Kelly Rowland believes her gay fans are the reason she’s been successful.
She stated, “My gay fans are the reason I’m here, you know what I mean. For me, the gay community provides so much strength and I really say this from the heart. There is so much unconditional love, and I appreciate that it has been so amazing.”
Kelly’s fans are complaining the singer failed to acknowledge her other supporters and not just the gay community.
Honestly, I don’t get the big deal. Could she have kept it simple and thanked everyone? Perhaps. But she happened to have been at a gay night club when she made the statement. I’m sure she doesn’t mean they have been her only supporters. Some people are just way too sensitive.
