[Official Video] Jawan Harris: “She Will”

Newcomer Jawan Harris tapped Lil’ Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter to play his love interest in the video for new single “She Will”. Quite clever, given Wayne has his own single by the same title. Although sampled, the songs shouldn’t be confused, however. Harris has also sampled Soul For Real‘s 1995 hit “Candy Rain”, meshing the two tracks together putting his own spin on it, of course.

The 14 yr. old singer hails from Chicago and is signed to Jive records. He notes Usher, Chris Brown and Miguel as his musical influences. You can catch Jawan on the ‘Life of the Jetsetter’ tour starring Diggy Simmons. “It’s On! (The Mixtape)” is available right now.
