Madonna’s ‘MDNA’ album has sold 359,000 copies in its first week, making it the eighth time she has topped the Billboard 200 album charts.
Although reviews were mixed, in it’s debut ‘MDNA’ reached No.1 on iTunes in 40 countries. Surprising considering the album’s debut single, “Give Me All Your Luvin'” only peaked number 37 on the charts back in February.
‘MDNA’‘ has also topped the UK charts this week, making her the most successful solo artist ever in UK album charts – one album ahead of Elvis Presley’s record of 11 chart-topping albums.
Despite her many critics, looks like Madge still has that it factor! And, she certainly has her loyal fans who are relentless to say the least. Congrats Madonna.
