The Vice Presidential Debate

Although, Senator Joe Biden and Govenor Sarah Palin clashed over issues from the economy, to Iraq, to the role of the Vice President, many are still asking what was accomplished in last night’s debate? Many viewers believe they both failed to answer questions asked effectively. In the previous week Gov. Palin faced scrutiny when she struggled to answer questions in televised interviews but came prepared for last night’s debate. She stated, “I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I’m going to talk straight to the American people and let them know my track record,” in an attempt to gain sympathy from the national television audience. Biden was direct, steady and spoke with an experienced voice. They were both polite when addressing each the other and spent more time advocating for their party and its goals instead of answering questions the people really wanted to hear answered. As for who won the debate? That is still a debate!
