Eighteen year old Justin Bieber has earned his High School diploma. While most artists quit school to focus on their music profession, Bieber was able to earn his degree between multi-platinum selling albums, world-wide tours and a hectic promotional schedule.
“I just finished high school,” Bieber recently told England’s Daily Telegraph. “I passed my test – I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day.”
Where did he find the motivation? “That was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her. I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m really not into that stuff. I like to be out there.”
Despite his disdain for school work, that’s something to be proud of. There are a number of very successful musicians who’ve yet to make the accomplishment.
The list includes some of today’s major super stars, hence, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Britney Spears just to name a few.
You should be proud of yourself, congrats Bieber.
