Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb has passed away at the age of 62 after a long battle with colon cancer.
On Sunday Gibb’s family announced he had passed following his long battle with the disease and intestinal surgery.
Gibb had been hospitalized for intestinal problems several times in the last two years following his cancer diagnosis. The disease eventually spread from his colon to his liver, and in the days leading up to his death he contracted pneumonia and fell into a coma.
He is survived by his wife, Dwina Murphy, sons Spencer and Robin-John, his daughters, Melissa and Snow.
The Gibb family would like their privacy respected at this time.
