Reverend, Al Sharpton and Nicole Paultre Bell, fiancee of Sean Bell, were arrested Wednesday evening by the NYPD, for blocking traffic while protesting against the acquittal of detectives in the Sean Bell murder trial. Fifty shots were fired killing Bell on what would have been his wedding day. Sharpton was the first of approximately 190 marchers to be arrested, including Joseph Guzman who sustained 15 bullet wounds the night of the shooting. Protestors could be heard shouting “We are all Sean Bell” while marching from One Police Plaza to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge where Sharpon and protestors were arrested. CK
