Who needs the press when you can leak the news yourself! Beyonce confirmed news she’ll be performing at next year’s XLVII Super Bowl half time show when she posted the above image on her official Tumblr.
This will be the second time Knowles will perform for the event. In 2004 she sang “The Star Spangled Banner” receiving a standing ovation for performance. The performance will also be the first live televised performance for Bey since delivering daughter, Blue Ivy, back in January.
As you can imagine, Bey stans are over the moon! The show will take place February 3rd at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on CBS.
