TLC members T-Boz and Chilli confirmed there will be another TLC album while being honored at the MOBO Awards in Liverpool over the weekend. T-Boz made the announcement that they’re planning a new album, tour and VHI biopic.
The album will be their first since 2002’s “3D,” following the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who passed away earlier a few months earlier in a car crash in Honduras.
Thomas and Watkins said they will produce the VH1 movie and are close to casting actresses to portray the trio.
In the past the duo have stated there will never be another Left Eye or a replacement and noted the album “still going to sound like TLC, evolving to whatever level we need to be at this time.”
There are also rumors that a holographic Lopes, similar to the one of Tupac Shakur at Coachella over the summer. On if it’s true Chilli stated,
“It will be hard on us but I certainly think our fans would love to see it. We would definitely be the first group to ever do it.”
