Jennifer Hudson has been confirmed to perform at the Grammys on Feb. 8, it was announced yesterday. The Oscar-winner, who is nominated for four Grammys for her self-titled debut album, is slowly making a come back to the spotlight after the murders of her mother, brother and nephew 3 months agao. Her performance at the Grammys will be her second televised public appearance since the tragedy. Last week it was announced that Hudson will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, in Tampa Florida.
Carrie Underwood,Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, Kenny Chesney and Katy Perry are all expected to perform at this year’s Grammy awards.
Hudson is up for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song (for “Spotlight”), Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals for her duet with Fantasia (“I’m His Only Woman”), and Best R&B Album.
