As if you haven’t already heard! The Miami Heat won their second straight NBA championship, Thursday night, against the San Antonio Spurs.
Lebron James, his second time as MVP, ironically quoted Lil’ Wayne, who is an anti Miami Heat fan, when asked about how he deals with criticism from his haters. He stated, “I can’t worry about what everybody says about. I’m LeBron James from Akron, Ohio, from the inner city, and I’m not even supposed to be here. That’s enough. Every time I walk into the locker room I see a #6 with James on the back, I’m blessed. So what everybody say about me off the court don’t matter. I ain’t got no worries!”
Many believed the Spurs threw the championship away following their disappointing lose in game 6 when the Heat made a surprising comeback, winning in the last remaining minutes of the game. This is the first time the Spurs have lost a championship game.
Congrats Lebron and The Miami Heat!
