Usher’s Son Hospitalized in ICU After Pool Accident

The eldest of Usher‘s two sons, Usher Raymond V, was rushed to an Atlanta hospital yesterday after a pool accident.

The 5 year old was apparently playing in the pool when a toy fell into the drain. He dove down to retrieve the toy and his arm got stuck in the pool drain. His aunt, who was there with him, immediately tried to get his arm free while screaming for help. A maid, that was inside the house, also came out and tried to help but could not get the boy’s arm free. Two audio men who were reportedly working inside of the house heard the screams, came out to help, and were able to get Raymond’s arm free. He was then given CPR and rushed to the hospital.

Usher was not at the house at the time, but was able to get to his house in time to ride with his son to the hospital. Raymond is reported to be okay. This is an eerie situation as Usher and ex-wife, Tameka Foster, went through a similar situation almost a year ago when her oldest son, Kile Glover, was struck by a jet ski at Lake Lanier. Kile later passed away.

Our thoughts and prayers go to this family and hopefully there will be nothing messy that comes out of this.
