Kelly Clarkson Pregnant With First Child!

Kelly Clarkson is officially pregnant with her first child. She and husband, Brandon Blackstock, didn’t waste anytime in starting a family.

The couple wed, just four weeks ago, in an intimate ceremony in Tennessee attended by close family and friends.

It was Clarkson who made the announcement on Twitter, Tuesday morning, tweeting “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)”

Although this is Clarkson’s first child she’s been having plenty of practice being stepmom to Blackstock’s two children, Savannah, 12, and Seth, 6, from his previous marriage.

As for how she gets along with the children? During an interview with PEOPLE.com back in October Blackstock’s ex-wife, Melissa, declared, “My kids love her. I couldn’t ask for a better stepmother for my children.”

Seems things are going well with the blended family.
