Beyonce Sells Over 828K Albums Breaking iTunes Record!

The numbers are in! Beyonce has just broken another record with her fifth studio and visual album, ‘Beyonce’. In just three days she’s sold over 828,000 worldwide in just three days.

Not only has the since sold a record breaking amount of album in a few days, but she’ll also debut #1 on Billboard 200. In fact, the album has debuted #1 in approximately 100 counties.

According to Hits Daily Double, “Two singles will be delivered to radio this week: “XO” (written by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and The-Dream) hits Top 40 tomorrow, while “Drunk in Love,” a duet with Jay Z, impacts at Urban. Videos for both tracks, meanwhile, premiere on VEVO tomorrow.”

“Reportedly crafted over a year and a half, Beyonce features—in addition to hubby Jay Z and co-writers Tedder and The Dream—a panoply of guest collaborators, including Justin Timberlake, Drake, Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean, Sia, Miguel, Timbaland and her Destiny’s Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.”

With no promotion or previous indication her album would be out, the singer has certainly changed the way consumers consume music and, perhaps, the way the music industry distribute music entirely.
