Jennifer Lopez is back with new music from her upcoming tenth studio album. In fact, the singer has just premiered the music video for new single, “Same Girl.”
The visual, shot in JLo’s hometown of the Bronx, NY, showcases the surrounding neighborhoods in which she grew up and sends an important message — she’s still that same girl of course.
During a recent interview, JLo told Jay Leno of making the video, “We did it very guerrilla-style, just me and the camera, and it turned out pretty cool,” before unveiling a video preview.
“Those were all neighborhood people,” Lopez explained. “They just walked down the street and they just started following. They all just started gathering around and we were like, ‘You want to be in the video?’ It was so much fun and there was so much love out there. I wanted to capture that.”
“It just reminded me of all those amazing moments of riding on that train back and forth to Manhattan and back to the Bronx,” she added.
