Taraji P. Henson Struts Her Stuff In UPSCALE Magazine

43 never looked so good! Actress Taraji P. Henson is featured in the April issue of UPSCALE Magazine looking like a hot mama jama!

Henson is currently working on Think Like A Man Too and will be playing the lead role in the hip hop drama Empire directed by Lee Daniels. She is also starring in a thriller movie called No Good Deed which will be released later this year and working on another film called Term Life. Seems like Henson stays behind the scenes for a good reason-she is a busy lady!

The mother of one looks fashionable and classy in beaded shorts and a fitted fishnet top. She discussed several different topics with the publication including being a black actress in Hollywood, her love life and what happened after her Oscar nomination. Henson told UPSCALE,

“It’s always a battle for black women; we’re totally at the bottom of the totem pole. Look at the white girls. How many times have you seen Amy Adams in a period piece with a great actor like Meryl Streep or Christian Bale? And look at Jennifer Lawrence! Hits out the wazoo! How come we’re not nominated every year? Because the scripts and the roles aren’t there. It’s not rocket science.”

It’s a shame-we want more Taraji on the big screen!
In regards to her love life, Ms. Henson is not settling! The actress explained,

“”Here’s the deal. I’m no spring chicken. I’m not in my 20s dating around. I’m looking for happily ever after. So, once you get clear on what it is you’re looking for, the pickings are slim, honey. I’ve left the whole continent of North America. i’m looking abroad.”

Girl, I don’t blame you one bit. The pickings are definitely way too slim. And if you are having issues looking like that, damn I don’t know what I’m going to do!
