President Barack Obama spent most of his day yesterday, Wednesday, April 29th in press conferences detailing his progress in the first 100 days and the hard work and dedication needed to progress in the future. He stated that, in his first 100 days, he’s been “sobered by the fact that change in Washington comes slow” .
“We are off to a good start, but it is just a start,” Obama said. “I am proud of what we have achieved, but I am not content. I am pleased with our progress, but I am not satisfied.”
The President went on to discuss measures being taken to improve the auto industry, assisting the financial institutions, and he even took some time to address some of his critics. However, despite what the critics say, Obama still has a 69% approval rating.
