Guess whose back? 90’s R&B group, Jodeci, that’s who! In fact, the group is set for a musical comeback and performance at this year’s Soul Train Music Awards. Brothers Donald “DeVante Swing” DeGrate, Dalvin “Mr. Dalvin” DeGrate, and Cedric “K-CI” Hailey and Joel “Jo Jo” Hailey had a successful career during the 90’s with hits including “Stay”, “Forever My Lady”, “Come and Talk to Me”, “Cry For You”, and “Lately”. Unfortunately due to substance abuse and alcohol consumption, many problems arise for the group, contributing to their down fall.

The award ceremony will take place on TV One in early November, reminding us all of why we fell in love with the group in the first place. Since news of the reunion, there has been some questions as to whether Jodeci is back and in full affect. During an interview with the Huffington Post in 2013, K-Ci stated, “We are not getting back together, simple reason is we never broke up.”

It is true, the music and hit makers stopped recording music and touring together but there was no official confirmation of a break up among the group.

Is Jodeci really reuniting after so many years? If so, are you excited for the group’s return sweethearts?
