Lifetime is reportedly releasing a Whitney Houston biopic on the third anniversary of her death. The film is being produced by Angela Bassett and is expected to shine light on her turbulent relationship with Bobby Brown and her struggle with addiction.
Yaya DaCosta, who is best known for her role in The Butler stars in the leading role and Arlen Escarpeta play Bobby Brown. The vocals in the film are sung by Deborah Cox, which sparks some excitement for the film. Whitney premiers January 17 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime. Check out the trailer below!
