Earlier this morning we reported on the unfortunate murder/suicide of “Hit the Floor’s Stephanie Mosely at the hands of her rapper husband Earl Hayes.
We’ve now learned that the murder may have been sparked by infidelities Hayes believed Mosely had during the course of their marriage — including a possible affair with singer Trey Songz.
As per Sandra Rose:
Sources connected with Hayes tell us (TMZ)… around 2 years ago he separated from Stephanie because of what he says was her affair with Songz. They got back together but, as one friend put it, “He was crushed and never got over it.” We’re told he frequently brought up Songz.
Hayes accused Moseley of having multiple affairs with various other entertainers. She was a backup dancer who worked with numerous famous singers, including Chris Brown and Usher, but we’re told Hayes never mentioned them as a source of conflict.
Hayes and Moseley married in 2008 and his friends say he loved her and tried rationalizing staying together.
Although we can’t corroborate that there was an affair with Moseley and the R&B crooner, we can confirm that the singer and Mosely did have some sort of friendship. Upon learning of her death Songz tweeted, “R.I.P babygirl. Once an angel on earth, now watching over us from Heaven. You’ll b missed but never forgotten. Love.”
As for reports he and Moseley had an intimate relationship, Songz has yet to comment on the speculation.
