Most of us were shocked to learn that singer Chris Brown had recently fathered a baby girl despite being in a five year relationship with socialite Karrueche Tran — resulting in the couple’s most recent split.
There’s since been much speculation about the singer’s alleged daughter, whom we now know to have been named Royalty, and her mom. Now, many of the singer’s fans are still wondering just, ‘who is she?’ So here’s what we can tell you.
The child’s mother is said to be a former model by the name of Nia Amey (Gonzalez) who resides in Houston, Texas. The Daily Mail reveals that Amey is also a former nursing student.
While Amey is her alleged married name, Nia may have reverted back to her maiden name, Gonzalez, post split from husband Terry Amey. The couple’s marriage is said to have ended after her affair with Brown — resulting in the baby girl (whom he thought was his).
According Terry Amey, finding out the truth was the saddest day of his life.
It might be a shock to the world being that Chris Brown is a father and now he’s going to have to step up to do right thing. But at the same time I’m a god-loving person and I have to forgive to give my message.
She was young and she had obstacles and made mistakes and now you have a child involved.
Social media is making it worse than what it is. But nobody is perfect. When you’re in this industry all types of things are going to happen. It’s not just happening with my ex wife – it’s all women in the industry. When you allow persuasion and [being] misled to guide you, things are going to happen. It is what it is. It’s a part of growing.
Social media is saying this and that and that she’s a gold digger. … Nia is not the person who they portray. She has a past, but who don’t have one. She knew whose that baby was, so that name ‘Royalty’ came about because she will be royalty.”
Nia and I also have a 13-year-old daughter, Zillah. I’m upset social media is blowing this up and two kids are involved and they’re young. Nia is a great mother. She’s been raising Zillah and Royalty” with the help of her own mother. – Hollywood Street King

And according to TMZ, although Brown hasn’t yet publicly confirmed that he is the father of the baby girl, he’s planning on taking Amey to court.
Sources connected with Brown tell TMZ … the singer didn’t know he was the father of 9-month-old Royalty until last month, when Nia Gonzalez dropped the news. We’re told Chris quickly made a deal with her where he would pay monthly child support.
Our sources say Chris is forking out substantially more than he’d be required to pay if a judge ordered formal child support. There’s a scale on how much a parent pays, based largely on income. We’re told Chris upped that amount and in return demanded that she keep her lips sealed.
We know Chris now believes Nia has been leaking stories and talking about their relationship. As a result, our sources say his lawyers are now preparing legal docs, in which he will ask a judge for an order requiring him to pay child support. It sounds strange, but he’ll pay less than he does now.
