Gabrielle Douglas Lands Own Reality Show

Gold medalist and gymnast, Gabrielle Douglas, is joining the reality TV market.

Douglas, 19, and her family will be featured on an upcoming Oxygen reality series, sometime later this year, titled “Douglas Family Gold.” She’ll be joined by her mom Natalie Hawkins, her two sisters, Joyelle and Arielle and one brother Jonathan.

The series will follow Douglas as she attempts to be the first gymnast, in nearly 50 years, to be a repeat Olympic champion.

If you all remember, Douglas was the youngest and first African-American to win the all-around title in the 2012 London Olympic Games. Not only did she win an individual gold medal, she was also apart the “Fierce Five” to take home the gold medal for team USA.

We’ll also see Douglas balance her personal and family life with her very hectic schedule, traveling between California and Ohio and her grueling training regimen.
