A Baltimore mother is getting much praise and press coverage today after a video of her attack on her own son went viral, on Monday.
After discovering that her son had joined in with local kids to riot and fight back against police after the killing of Baltimore native Freddie Gray, at the hands of Baltimore officers, the woman immediately went to retrieve him.
The concerned mother is seen violently hitting, shoving and dragging her son for, reportedly, throwing stones at officers.
And while some do not agree with the mom’s tactics, others believe that by taking action, the mother may have prevented her son from being arrested and/or getting himself killed as well.
