After filing for divorce earlier this year Jasmin Guy, best known as Whitley on A Different World, now battles with estranged husband Terrence Duckett over custody of their nine year old daughter, Imani. Guy and Duckett who are both 46, were married for 10 years before their separation. Meanwhile Duckett is only seeking joint custody of their daughter Guy has a long list of personal belongings and furnishings she would like to be rewarded and has requested that Duckett not receive spousal support while it be provided for her.
