Michelle Obama was named the #1 Best Dressed Woman of 2008 by Vanity Fair on its 2008 International Best Dressed List. The magazine’s editors calls her their “commander-in-sheath.”
Not surprising given Obama has made the news in reference to her fashion before. Michelle was praised and even copied when she wore the infamous black and white Donna Ricco dress when she co-hosted the View. After the show ended sales rose immediately for the off the rack dress Obama purchased in a Manhattan boutique White House/Black Market.
