A Week In Fashion With Solange Knowles

Thanks to Vogue magazine, singer-songwriter, model and occasional DJ, Solange Knowles, takes us a long for an entire week as she shares her style and fashion trends she’s loving at the moment.

Here are a few looks Solange reveals with a brief description of what she’s wearing below and why.

Feb. 9th


“This is a vintage sweater that my friend picked up while we were thrifting. She wasn’t sure about it…I was VERY sure about it…now it’s mine, all mine! I’m wearing it with an American Apparel pleated skirt, a Phillip Lim belt and Prada dragonfly shoes (on feet that need lotion, fast!).”

Feb. 8th

“Off to the studio in a Velvet sweater, Zara trousers, Mulberry Alexa and Linda Farrow sunglasses.”

Feb. 7th

“Today I’m wearing a Proenza Schouler jacket with a DVF blouse, Armani trousers, a vintage YSL envelope clutch (which you can see close-up in the next photo), Lorraine Schwartz turquoise earrings, an Urban Outfitters hat and Lia Spohia and Konstantino rings.”

“Tonight I’m going to the Runway To Win event wearing this Vera Wang gown.”

Feb. 3rd

“Today I’m wearing H&M gloves, a Velvet sweater, Gucci leather leggings (that have been through thick and thin, no pun intended), Phosphorescence glasses, and these beauuutiiful Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte shoes.

Feb. 1st.

“Off to the studio in a T By Alexander Wang sweater, Guess by Marciano leather pants, BCBG shoes, Linda Farrow glasses and a CC Skye clutch (Yes, I support daytime clutch-wearing!).”
