Should An Abusive Ex Get Alimony? Ask Chad Johnson

Should an abusive ex get alimony? I pose this question following a disturbing tweet sent out by Chad Johnson on news ex-wife Evelyn Lozada landed a six figure deal with a fitness company.

Chad and Evelyn parted ways, in one of the most dramatic and public break ups ever, after Chad head-butted the reality star following a heated argument. Chad lost his NFL contract with the Miami Dolphins and Evelyn continued to find more ways to extend her fifteen minutes of fame. Following the altercation Lozada filed for divorce not long after the divorce was finalized a few short months after.

Here’s what Chad tweeted after a fan asked if he’d been with Evelyn for her money.

In true jackass fashion, Chad Johnson is a jerk.

I’m not sure if the comment was meant as a joke or sarcasm but he said it.

But his answer poses an interesting question. Should an abusive ex receive alimony if their spouse was the breadwinner?
