Some very sad news in Hollywood today. Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away this morning at just 54 years old.
Duncan suffered a heart attack back on July 13th and, unfortunately, he never fully recovered. He passed away at an LA hospital this morning. The same hospital he’s been these past seven weeks since suffering a myocardial infarction. He was accompanied by fiance and former ‘The Apprentice’ reality star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth by his bedside when he passed.
In an official statement by a family rep Omarosa send her thanks to well wishers. The rep states, “Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
Duncan’s break out role came back in 1999 when he starred alongside Tom Hanks in his Academy Award nominated role for ‘The Green Mile’.
May he rest in peace.
