As cliché as it sounds, haters are gonna hate. Ariana Grande, you need to do your thing and stay off Twitter, girl!
Unfortunately, at the Grammy’s this past weekend, 20-year old Ariana Grande was very upset over a blogger’s mean comments about her outfit and her hair. According to E! News Senior Editor and Writer Marc Malkin, Grande was freaking out and nearly cried because of the tweets. To make matters worse, being in the spotlight didn’t help her either. A source told E! News,
“She’s still not completely comfortable on carpets and she made the mistake of looking at Twitter. This blogger attacked her dress but also went after her hair and then more people started piling on. It was just mean. Ariana was like, ‘Why am I even here?”
For as long as I can remember, Ariana always dressed ‘younger’; sporting floral prints, bows and hearts. That’s her signature style! Personally, I think it works for her because she’s comfortable in those clothes and seems to like that kind of image for herself. Bloggers may say she looks outdated or her look is boring, but hey — no one can say she looks bad and she has a beautiful voice! Let’s pay more attention to that, please.
Moreover, Ariana has already addressed the reason why she doesn’t change her hair. Just one week prior to the Grammy’s, she explained via Facebook why she wears extensions and why she is hesitant to change her hairstyle.
The ‘Baby I’ singer also addressed the haters on Grammy night via social media saying, “i’ll change up my style when i’m ready to, enjoyin the last of my retro phase. more important things like this musicccc, stu for the night”. Go Ariana, shut ’em down!
On the flip side, it would be great to see Ariana take a fashion risk because she is young, petite and could get away with rocking something more revealing. However, if she doesn’t want to switch up her style right now and likes her current wardrobe, than so be it. Can we just focus on her second album? I’m waiting for a song to top ‘Baby I’ and ‘Honeymoon Avenue’!

I am so late, because I just realized Ariana was “Cat” from Sam & Cat when I watched the Grammy’s. My kids watch Sam & Cat all the time, I used to always say “why does Cat, talk like that” when we were watching the grammy’s my son was like that’s Cat, then it all came together for me.
Any who if she’s comfortable in her skin let her be. Geesh, folks can be a little too critical.
