Grammy winning singer-songwriter, Ashanti, 28, will make her theatrical debut this summer as Dorothy in a revival of “The Wiz”. The musical will play beginning June 12 through July 5 at New York City Center, as part of its “Encores! Summer Stars” series. Opening night is June 18.
