Singer Ashlee Simpson, 29, and Evan Ross, 25, are officially engaged.
Ross shared the above image, of himself and Simpson sporting her engagement ring, hours ago announcing their engagement. He tweeted, “The love of my life said YES!!!!!!”
Simpson shared the same image adding, “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!”
Although Simpson and Ross are successful in their own right (she sings he act), you may also know them by some of their more famous siblings and parents.
Evan is the son of the legendary Diana Ross and Simpson is Jessica Simpson‘s younger sister.
Upon hearing the news of Ross’ engagement, his sister and actress Tracee Ellis Ross also expressed her excitement for the couple. Sharing a photo of the pair, with her Instagram followers, she then added, “I am so over the moon for my brother. He has found the LOVE of his life. And I get another sister. Nothing better. I love you “Shlee” Congrats @eross88 @Missbananahammock I’M SO EXCITED!!!!! #RossSimpson #love”
This will be the first marriage for the actor and second for Simpson. She was previously married to rocker Pete Wentz from 2008 until 2011. The couple share a 4 year old son together, Bronx Wentz.
