Newlyweds, Ashlee Simpson, 30, and Evan Ross, 26, have just announced that they are expecting their first child together.
After tying the knot just this past September, it seems, the couple will have to cut their honeymoon short and prepare to welcome a baby.
After a year long courtship, the couple exchanged vows in a lavished ceremony held at Ross’ famous mom and singer, Diana Ross‘ Greenwich, Connecticut estate. The wedding was also officiated by the legendary singer.
The ceremony was also well attended by the couple’s close friends and family, including Ross’ three elder sisters and twin brother and Simpson’s famous older sister Jessica Simpson.
At the time of the couple’s engagement, earlier in the year, Ross couldn’t stop gushing about his bride-to-be. “I’m so in love and we’ve got amazing things going on. We inspire each other,” The Hunger Games:Mockingjay star told PEOPLE.
And while this will be the first child for the actor and singer, it’s the second for Simpson, who has a six-year-old son, Bronx, from her previous marriage to Pete Wentz.
