Ashton Kutcher is, reportedly, in the running to bring Steve Jobs’ biopic to life. Kutcher’s striking resemblance to the Apple founder and pioneer was, apparently, the key factor in bringing in the ‘Two and a Half Man’ actor.
And no, although the news broke on April 1st, this is not an April fools joke.
The independent film, being produced by Five Star Institute, will depict the life of a young Jobs in his days as a hippie and his start as the Apple co-founder we later became accustomed to.
For now, the film is set to begin filming in May. Sony Pictures will also follow up with their own film honoring the late Apple co-founder. Further details are not yet known.
Meanwhile, however, many are asking is Kutcher the right man for the job?
