No one saw this coming, at least not so soon, but ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Porsha Stewart and husband Kordell Stewart may be heading for a divorce. In fact, Kordell just filed divorce papers last week, citing that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”
The Access Atlanta reports, Kordell filed a petition on March 22nd in Fulton Co, GA seeking a divorce against the reality starlet and it doesn’t appear Porsha knew it was coming. During a recent radio interview she stated her marriage was in tact and she wasn’t going anywhere.
The site reports, “Petitioner, after marrying respondent, a cast member on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” on May 21, 2011, is seeking divorce as the marriage is irretrievably broken.”
There may have been some telling signs for some time now. We reported last week that Kordell did not approve of Porsha continuing with the show because he was deemed as a controlling husband. Fellow cast members also voiced their opinion about Kordell’s controlling ways and even expressed not liking the way Kordell speaks to his wife.
The couple were married in May 2011 and have no pre-nup. We shall see how this plays out.

can’t wait to see Peter stand up to that dude…thats messed up if she didn’t have a clue he wanted a divorce or maybe she played the naive role…either way its a messed up situation
