A Baltimore, Maryland pastor, Jamal Bryant, is under scrutiny this week after a video went viral of the pastor quoting a single by singer Chris Brown. In his sermon the pastor declared, “These hoes ain’t loyal.”

The sermon was also plagued with homophobia, sexism and misogyny.

To the surprise of many, however, Bryant’s congregation, of the Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, MD, seemed to co-sign the sermon and statements.

Since the backlash, Bryant joined “The James Fortune Show” to clarify the context of his words and apologized to those he offended.
