It’s that time again, the Bet Awards. The show, airing June 24th at 8et/pm, will be opened by none other than Usher!! The nominees, performers as well as honorees were announced last night at the 106 & Park Press Conference.
Other performers include The Queen Mary J. Blige, Nelly and Lil’ Wayne. Leading the bunch with 5 nominations is T-Pain with 3 being collaborations (“kiss-kiss”, “Low” and “Good Life”).
Nominees include the leading ladies, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, and none other than Mariah Carey. The list of leading men includes Chris Breezy, Ne-Yo, Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne and more! For group and/or duo none other than the men and women of Bad Boy, Danity Kane and Day 26 go up against each other for the trophy. I wish all the nominees the best and congratulations! I wonder if rumored new couple Chris and Rihanna will make their first red carpet debut? Hmmm….now wouldn’t that be interesting.
