Bethenny Frankel and husband of nearly three years, Jason Hoppy, are heading for a divorce! It seems the rumors the couple were having marital trouble for some time now were true.
In an official statement via People Frankel says,”We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority,” the statement continues. “This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.”
Earlier this summer, the reality TV star, author and talk-show host admitted that she was fighting for her marriage, which was filmed for and subsequently documented on her Bravo reality show ‘Bethenny Ever After’.
Frankel and Hoppy, met at a nightclub in 2008 and became engaged eleven months later. The married March 201o while Frankel was seven months pregnant with daughter Bryn, 2 1/2.
Frankel, a chef, is also creator of the Skinnygirl line of cocktail, food and nutrition products. She rose to fame back in 2006 as a cast member on ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ and went in to star in spin-off reality show ‘Bethenny Getting Married?’ and as host of her own talk show, ‘Bethenny’.
Following her announcement Frankel also tweeted, “I am heartbroken. I am sad. We will work through this as a family. Thank you all so much. You give me so much love, and I am so grateful. It feels like your words could get someone through anything.”
