Don’t mess with queen Bey. Earlier today news broke that Beyonce would hold a press conference to finally address allegations she lip-synced during President Obama’s 2013 Presidential Inaguration in Washington, DC. Although the singer admits that she did in fact lip-synced to a pre-recorded track it was all for a good reason.
“I am a perfectionist,” she explained. “And one thing about me: I practice ’till my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show… Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check… I did not feel comfortable singing live.”
Amongst all the rumors Knowles kept pretty silence, like she normally does when faced with controversy. This time, however ,the singer decided to shut down any doubters when she sung the National Anthem live for all eyes to see. Taking center stage, the singer asked the audience, filled with media outlets, to please stand. As if to say, “Yes, I can still sing! Did you all forget?” she preceded to sing The Star Spangled Banner with no background music or band. She nailed it.

Big of her to admit what everyone knew. Who cares anyway?
She’s so extra. I don’t think people doubted her ability to sing, they were calling her out on the fraud of the “live performance.” She could of just issued a statement confirming this, when the story broke.
I still don’t understand what’s the big damn deal.. It’s not like she can’t sing.. She didn’t Milli Vanili the shit it was HER voice!
