Beyonce Part Ways With Manager & Father Matthew Knowles

Beyonce Knowles has officially parted ways with her father and long time manager, of nearly two decades, Matthew Knowles.  In a statement issued by Knowles’ publicist, Yvette Noel- Schure, it was announced just yesterday that the two have parted ways on “on a business level”.

Rumors of a strained relationship  has lingered since Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams’ own departure from Matthew Knowles management team and Music World Entertainment over and a year ago. Knowles, Rowland and Williams completed the successful girl group, Destiny’s Child, also managed by Matthew Knowles before spare heading Beyonce’s  successful solo career.

Inside sources suggests the father-daughter duo have been estranged for years following Papa Knowles’ infidelity resulting in a son nearly two years ago. Knowles’ father and mother, Tina Knowles, had been married for nearly 29 years when their marriage came to an abrupt halt following Knowles’ indiscretion.

Beyonce said in the statement, “I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps……”He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” Beyonce said.

In his own statement Knowles added, “Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”

When asked, Noel-Schure did not indicate who would take over management duties for Knowles.  However, many are already speculating Knowles’ woud stem from her husband (Jay-Z’s) own Roc Nation
