Amazon may have just spilled some very hot tea. Rumor has it, Beyonce is preparing to release a second surprise album, following her 2013 self titled visual release. What’s even more exciting? We may get some new music from the singer as early as this month.
Well, not so fast Beyhive.
Beyonce’s album will actually be a reissue of her self-titled visual album. It will be revamped as a Platinum Edition Box Set to include two new singles.
According to Rolling Stone, “[the] Platinum Edition Box Set adds an extra disc of music and another DVD chronicling a gig from Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour to the “visual album” CD/DVD combo she dropped last year. The Platinum Edition arrives Monday, November 24th.”
Platinum Edition Box Set will feature two new Beyoncé tracks, “7/11” and “Ring Off,” as well as four new remixes, including the previously released “Flawless” remix with Nicki Minaj. Beyoncé’s “Blow” will get the Pharrell Williams treatment, the pre-Beyoncé single “Standing on the Sun” will be remixed by Mr. Vegas and the long-rumored “Drunk In Love” featuring both Jay Z and Kanye West will also be included on Platinum.
The Platinum Edition’s four discs also come with Beyoncé’s 2015 mini-calendar. Fans who digitally purchased Beyoncé when it arrived out of nowhere in December 2013 will have the option of buying only the new material.
Sweethearts, are you excited for the re-release from the singer?
