Beyonce Thanks Fans For BET Awards

Following Sunday night’s BET Awards and two awards, Beyonce sent a special message to her fans via her official website. She says,

“Thank you BET! I am honored to have won awards tonight for Best Female R&B Artist and Video Director Of The Year!

Thank you to Alan Ferguson and to everyone who helped bring my vision for these videos to life!

And a very special thank you to my fans, because all of this is for you.

It’s always good to see Bey interact and speak directly to her fans. It’s no secret the star is extremely private and does not engage in much social media. In the last several months she’s used her site and Tumblr to connect with her fans, perhaps, realizing it’s the best way many stars are now keeping in touch with their own fanbase.
