At just 22 years old, the late Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown‘s only child is dead. Bobbi Kristina succumb to injuries sustained after being found submerged and unconscious in the bathtub of her Atlanta home on January 31st.
In an official statement from the Brown and Houston family, it’s been confirmed that Bobbi Kris died at the hospice care facility where she’s been since June 24.
It’s believed that Bobbi Kris was underwater anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes, which led to limited oxygen supply to her brain. Paramedics called to the scene was unable to resuscitate her. She had been in a medically induced coma and subsequently placed on life support until being released into hospice care last month.
Ultimately, Pat Houston and Bobby — co-guardians for Bobbi Kristina — had to make the decision to withdraw medications. It was a rare moment of agreement for the Browns and Houstons … who had battled about BK’s condition throughout her hospitalization,” reports TMZ.
Bobbi’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, could potentially face murder charges if evidence is found to prove he had anything to do with her demise. The two is believed to have had a tumultuous relationship. Bruises were found on Bobbi’s face and body after she was discovered by Gordon and friend Max Lomas.
It’s also been reported that the couple may have had a fight just that morning before Bobbi was discovered.
Unfortunately the young starlet’s death is eerily similar to that of her famous mom and singer Whitney Houston.
Houston was also found submerged in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel room resulting from a drug overdose in 2012.
