Bobby Brown’s Wife, Alicia Etheredge, Hospitalized Following Seizure

Bad news in the Brown camp. On Saturday, Bobby Brown‘s new wife, Alicia Etheredge, has been hospitalized following a seizure.

Etheredge reportedly suffered a seizure in the couple’s Kissimmee, FL hotel room while Bobby and his ‘New Edition’ band mates held a sound check at the Gaylord Palms Resort. She was then taken to a nearby hospital

Bobby also confirmed the news when he tweeted, “The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true. She is recovering and is in good spirits and doing well. Please keep my family in your prayers.”

And as they say, the show must go on. Bobby and band mates, Ralph Tresvant, Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Johnny Gil performed as scheduled. Bobby was visibly in good spirits when he told the crowd, “I’m seven and a half years off of narcotics, 21 days clean of alcohol, and I go by the name Bad Ass Bobby Brown!”

We reported earlier in the month Brown had entered rehab for alcohol addiction. He was ordered to go as a result of his March 2012 DUI arrest.

At the moment Alicia, who is also Bobby’s manager, is recovering well. No further reports have been released.
