Actor James Gandolfini has reportedly died earlier today at the age of 51.
It appears the actor, who became well known for his infamous role as Tony Soprano in the HBO series ‘The Sopranos’, suffered a heart attack while in Italy.
TMZ reports, “Gandolfini was in Italy to attend the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily — and he was scheduled to participate in a festival event this weekend with Italian director Gabriele Muccino.”
Gandolfini is survived by his wife, Deborah Lin, and a daughter, born just last October. He also has a teen son from a previous relationship.
