Chris Brown won’t have to serve any jail time after all. After copping a plea in his assault case, the judge ordered him to endure 180 days of hard labor and community service. He’ll spend 5 years on probation for felony assault and also has to stay 50 yards away from Rihanna. Brown will also have to enroll in a domestic violence counseling program and is order to appear in court every 3 months for review.
I think 5 years probation was a little harsh but I guess the judge wanted to make his point loud and clear! Chris will have to be sqeeky clean and careful of many even the slightest mistakes. He is still young and I think the possiblity of him making further mistakes is likely but hopefully nothing that will send him off to jail.
Rihanna on the other hand thought the judges order for her and Chris to stay atleast 50 yards away from each other was unnessary according to Chris’ attorney Donald Etra. Maybe there is still some feelings there! Hopefully they’ve both learned their lesson. Good luck to both Chris and Rihanna.
