Chris Brown is in trouble with the law once again. The singer has been jailed after getting kicked out of a Malibu rehabilitation center, he’d been residing for four months, on Friday (March 14, 2014).
The singer was taken into custody after being removed from the court-ordered rehab center for issues related to anger management.
He was “cooperative when taken into custody” as he was picked up from the facility and taken to the Los Angeles County men’s central jail where he was being held without bail Friday afternoon, a sheriff’s department statement said, reports CNN.
Although the reports are still vague as to what transpired, the singer had just completed a 90 day stint in rehab stemming from his probation violation from his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The singer had been on five years probation when he was arrested for assaulting a man in the Washington DC area, last October. Following the arrest and charge — still pending — the singer had voluntarily entered rehab.
After his progress report revealed that the singer had been making progress, the judge in the case ruled that the singer must remain in rehab instead of going to jail for his second assault case.
With this current violation, the singer’s future in currently in jeopardy. Not only has he returned to jail, he may be staying there for quite some time.
No further details surrounding the singer’s arrest has been revealed at this time.
We wish the singer well.
