More bad news for singer Chris Brown. While a resolution in his latest assault case against a DC man is yet to be reached, the singer is now being sued for $3 million.
In his civil lawsuit, filed Tuesday (February 18, 2014), against the singer, Parker Adams claims that he was outside the W Hotel in D.C. last October when Brown and his bodyguard became angry during an encounter — attacking him and breaking his nose.
He also claims Brown used an anti-gay slur during the attack yelling, “I ain’t down with that gay s***”
Adams is suing the singer and his bodyguard, Christoper Hollosy, requesting $1 million a piece, and an additional $500,000 each for punitive damages — including medical bills.
Following his rejection of a plea deal last month (See HERE), a trial is set to begin on April 17th. It is expected to last just a few days.
Brown, currently on probation for his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend and pop star Rihanna, was previously facing jail time for violating his probation last month. Thankfully, the judge in the case believed that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove Brown’s guilt and violation of his probation.
The singer was instead ordered to remain in a rehabilitation facility (See HERE) where’s he’s been since his alleged DC assault took place (See HERE).
